Swanson Industries >> Laser Cladding
![]() WORN OR DAMAGED HYDRAULIC COMPONENTS, ROLLS, SHAFTS, AND GEARS Swanson industries' unique resurfacing technology restores worn or damaged hydraulic components, rolls, shafts and gears to prime working condition. Our ISO-9000 Registered laser processing leverages high-powered laser and CNC technology to surface-coat components with metal alloys. Depending on your application, we resurface or "clad" a new or damaged component with a specified alloy--Austenitic or Maetensitic stainless steel, precipitation-hardening stainless steel, or nickel or cobalt based alloy This technoogy enables rapid heat transfer to metallurgically bond an alloy with specified properties to a component substrate. Applications include potential internal diameter repair of cylinders and mechanical gear repair. This high-density process called "Laser Cladding" is performed with 20-, 12-, and 4-kilowatt laser systems, depending on part size. ADVANTAGES
