Morgantown Machine & Hydraulics (MMH) specializes in cylinder repair, remanufacturing and manufacturing for industrial hydraulic and mechanical components.

New hydraulic replacement parts are available for major product lines, including most hydraulic systems. Swanson’s seasoned engineers and machinists design, build and test all hydraulic components to meet or exceed industry standards.

Our cylinder repair shops can repair any type of cylinder. If you just need seals, or a new cylinder made from a sample, we can help. We can address any problems you currently have, such as redesigning your cylinder to accept readily available off-the-shelf seals, or custom make a seal kit for you. Each cylinder is disassembled and carefully analyzed, then an estimate is sent to you for review before we proceed.

A finished cylinder is put through rigorous testing before leaving our facility. Load testing is also available by a 500 ton Computer Controlled Cylinder Testing Unit. This unit allows us to thoroughly test the cylinder over the entire stroke of the cylinder. The computer monitors such items as pressure, temperature of oil, and bypass (if any), every 2 inches of stroke in the cylinder.

Our capabilities when it comes to pump, motor and valve repair is so vast, to list them all would be too much to read. Major manufacturers include Parker Hannifin, Alpha, Commercial Intertech, Greer, Gresen, Kamat, HPI-Nichols, Pulsar, Racine, Republic, Ross, Tyrone, Ultra-Dowty, VOAC and Waterman. We are the regional authorized repair facility for most of the major manufacturers. As mentioned above, we are a Parker Certified Warranty facility.
